ICC is joining the Politecnico di Milano’s Innovation Lab project, hosting Ludovica Petrone and Andrea Roncan, two second-year students in the master’s degree program in Management Engineering, at the company.
Ludovica and Andrea are working hard to improve the management and performance of ICC’s manufacturing assets. They are supported in this journey by our experts Andrea Troncana – Internal Auditor & Controlling of ICC Group and Giuseppe Moreno – Operations Manager of ICC.
The project began with a critical analysis of the data currently used by management control, followed by an in-depth examination of the energy performance of our fleet. The students, through Power BI, developed an energy consumption monitoring dashboard capable of highlighting inefficiencies in machinery operation in a timely and targeted manner. This tool, for the next few years, will help ICC maintain a high standard of performance of its fleet of machines and will allow important containment of energy consumption.
The project, which is particularly transversal, has allowed Ludovica and Andrea to interface with different company departments, offering them a comprehensive and multidisciplinary training experience.
ICC values collaborations with Schools and Universities, opportunities that make us proud to contribute to the training of tomorrow’s professionals.
