In the range of products insulated with fluorinated polymer FEP, ICC also offers cURus (Recognized Component for US & Canada) certified cables: AWM STYLE 1330 1332 1900 1901.
In addition to an excellent resistance to heat and tear, the FEP insulation guarantees other relevant features:
- High electrical properties, allowing to provide very small thickness, designated for miniaturized connections;
- Excellent resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents;
Non-flammability - These cables are designed for different fields of application. The use is advised for particular applications that require high performance in terms of thermal, mechanical and chemical agents’ resistance.
In the automotive field these cables are chosen for their good resistance to heat and chemical agents, guaranteed by the insulating material: they are particularly suitable for use in the engine compartment. They are also widely used for lights and sensors connections.
