Italian Cable Company bets on green energy as a primary power source for its industrial activities located in Bolgare. Its photovoltaic power system of 977,13 kwp started self-production of power on the 5th of September 2011. Energy saving, CO2 reduction and environmental ethics are a few of ICC’S primary goals. This project, which began with the reclamation of its roofs with new high-performance thermic panels, has been completed with the installation of 4.158 solar panels on a 6.500 sqm surface, producing yearly 1.100.000 Kwh and avoiding the emission of 530 tons of CO2 .
