What is it all about?
ICC takes part in the Legami CoValenti project, an innovative training proposal promoted by Confindustria Bergamo in collaboration with Bergamo Natta Institute.
The course aims to reduce the gap between school and the world of work through constant dialogue and collaboration with local companies.
How the project developed
The initiative involved ICC through a lecture held at Istituto G. Natta by Giuseppe Moreno, our Operations Manager, and allowed us to host students in our laboratory, discovering plastics applied to the production of ICC.
Course topics
The main topics discussed in this edition were polymers and the circular economy, themes that have become increasingly important in recent years.
The meetings focused on the general characteristics of plastics and specifically explored:
- The viscoelastic behavior of polymeric spindles and notes on the rheology of macromolecules (“live” polymers)
- The chemical and physical characterization
