What the project is all about
In collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, we launched the “Innovation in action Lab” project.
The protagonists are Gianluca Bellocchio and Niccolò Perri, fifth-year students of Management Engineering, led by Gian Carlo Garbo, R&D Manager of ICC.
In just a few months, they got to the heart of our organization, working on two separate projects:
- The improvement of NPD (New-Product Development) in terms of KPIs, in collaboration with the Technical Department.
- The monitoring of operational steps in business development, working directly with the Technical and Sales Departments.
Double Diamond Methodology
A key tool for implementing these projects is the Double Diamond methodology they studied at University. When applied correctly, it helps identify the most functional road map for analyzing and solving specific problems.
What the students say
According to Gianluca and Niccolò, not only is the project a bridge between the university and the job market, but it also represents an opportunity to develop transversal skills, thanks to multidisciplinary collaboration with different processes.
