ICC Alongside Young Talents: The “Legami CoValenti” Project

ICC participated in the concluding event of “Legami CoValenti,” a three-year program promoted by the Chemical, Plastics, and Rubber groups of Confindustria Bergamo.

The initiative provided an important opportunity for interaction between the educational and professional worlds, involving approximately 600 students from the third, fourth, and fifth years of three chemical-focused institutes in our province: the Natta Institute in Bergamo, the Marconi Institute in Dalmine, and the Archimede Institute in Treviglio.

A total of 24 companies from the Chemical and Rubber-Plastic sector in the area, including ICC, have joined the project.

Referencing the themes of the “Polymers and Circular Economy” and “Process Sustainability” teaching units, the companies provided real-world case studies. This allowed students to tackle authentic challenges and gain practical exposure to the world of work.

In the final phase, the students presented their proposed project solutions for the company case studies assigned to them. Specifically, the classes that collaborated with ICC had the opportunity to learn about our company firsthand. They developed their projects by focusing on analyzing the activities of our in-house laboratory and the instrumentation used for the qualitative tests we perform at ICC on materials and finished products.

We are proud to have supported this project, which allowed us to contribute to the training of young talents, the future of our sector.
