During the 2000s ICC realizes the process of commercial expansion and the consolidation of the production capability: ICC aims to develop a wider range of products, combining its consolidated experience with the know-how of other companies, which operate in strategic economic areas. ICC undertakes collaborations with or makes acquisitions of such companies.
The strategic mission is to offer a range of products and services that can better meet the demands of a rapidly changing market
In 2002 a joint venture is established with Electroplast s.a., the Romanian company which will become the third largest producer of low voltage cables in Romania.
In 2004 ICC acquires Siltek S.p.A., a company from Cremona specialized in the production of high temperature cables. This strategic acquisition will greatly enrich ICC’s product range, which stands out among the main players in the sector for its ability to offer cables with several coating materials and for different applications. In 2009 Siltek S.p.A. will be incorporated in ICC, thus having only one headquarter and production site in Bolgare (BG).
In 2005 ICC arrives in South America: a joint venture is stipulated with Tecnoindusil, a company specialized in the production of cables for the steel industry.
At the beginning of 2007 the ICC group has 496 employees and a global turnover of 187,477,000 Euro.
In the new millennium ICC has become a leader in the world of cables, distinguishing itself as a strong, well-structured company, focused on market needs and always ready to innovate according to the continuous new requirements of the future.
