ICC & Universities: visiting students

ICC welcomed a few students of the Information Management course at the Management Engineering Department of the University of Bergamo for a training morning on different subject areas.

The group, accompanied by Professor Renato Redondi, was welcomed by Francesco Spiranelli, ICC President and CFO and lecturer of the course.

The visit

Maurizio Picariello, QHSE & Process Quality Improvement Manager, led the students on a tour inside the production departments, showing the transformation phases of the raw material (copper) into the finished product (cable).

– With Gian Carlo Garbo, R&D Manager, the focus moved to the design and industrial research phases to support product innovation.

– The meeting continued with Corporate Controller Giuliano Danesi, by analysing the management control functions and the tools put in place to support the company management.

It was a full and constructive orientation morning, during which the students were also given some precious tips for their future careers by Mario Belotti, HR Manager.

Goal of the initiative

It is an opportunity that allows us to enrich our relationship with the academic world for a mutual exchange of ideas: the students come into contact with a working reality embedded in the local fabric, while the ICC corporate figures get to know new young talents who could become part of the team in the future.
